4 large apples (any sweet variety like Fuji or Gala)

1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

1. Prepare the Apples:
– Peel, core, and chop the apples into small pieces.
– Place the apple pieces in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. You should have about 2 cups of apple puree.

2. Sweeten the Puree:
– Add the sugar to the apple puree and blend again until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

3. Freeze the Mixture:
– Pour the sweetened apple puree into a shallow dish or an airtight container.
– Place the container in the freezer and let it freeze for about 2-3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to break up any ice crystals and ensure a smooth texture.

4. Serve:
– Once fully frozen, scoop the sorbet into bowls and serve immediately.
