Bang Bang Sauce Recipe
Ever found yourself at a restaurant, slathering an unholy amount of that addictive, creamy-spicy sauce onto your shrimp or chicken and thinking, “Could I put this on… everything?” That’s bang bang sauce, the hero of the flavor world, here to save your fries, veggies, sandwiches, and maybe even your soul. Let’s make it!
Ingredients
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha (or to taste for added heat)
- 1 tbsp honey (for a touch of sweetness)
- 1 tsp rice vinegar (optional, for a bit more tang)
Instructions
- Mix it up: In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and rice vinegar until smooth and creamy.
- Adjust to taste: Give it a taste test and adjust for sweetness or spice. Add more sriracha if you like extra heat or a touch more honey if you prefer it sweeter.
- Serve and slather: Use immediately as a dip, drizzle, or sandwich spread. If you’re prepping in advance, cover and refrigerate for up to a week.
